Can I use the song to promote my business or brand?

Standard Agreement

Our standard rights/license agreement is for personal use only: listening in a private setting with friends and family, sharing on private social media channels, or listening at non-branded events such as weddings.

Commercial License (additional fee)

Only the Commercial License will give you a full license to use the song as you see fit for promotions, marketing, etc.

By law, you are required to have a license granted if you are purchasing a song on behalf of a brand or business if:

• you intend to use the song to promote the brand or business.
• you intend to play or perform the song at an event for the brand or business.
• you intend to play or perform the song at a public event.
• you intend to post the song on a social media account for the brand or business.
• you intend to publish the song in the media (radio, tv, etc.)
• you intend to publish the song for marketing purposes

*Brands and businesses include personal brands (i.e. influencers, YouTubers) and non-profit organizations.

*A commercial license may be required for other occasions.

Using your song in any non-personal setting without obtaining a commercial license is an illegal violation of our Terms of Use and an illegal copyright infringement.
